~T*R*I*P: Nottingham & Sherwood Forest~

The last one-day trip organized by the Student Union was Nottingham & Sherwood Forest.
It just took 1 hour for us to reach Nottingham. We were only given 4 hours for exploring and we thought that it was too little time for us. When we started exploring, this is a "not-much-thing-to-see" Robin Hood town, Robin Hood Museum was the only "free-entrance" museum that we had visited.
We just took photos and spent the time walking around.

Since Yates's is available at Nottingham, we went for the free Scampi and Chips meal (with a purchase of any drink). It was the third time I ate this month. OMG! Every time I took away since it's really a big portion.

We went back to our bus and we went to the next station, which was Sherwood Forest. There was another house of Robin Hood, again. =.= (Sorry, I'm just not a fan of Robin Hood)
Anyway, I like the forest, although it's a little boring. Malaysia's forest is better than that, as I know? I like it because of the weather & most importantly there's no mosquito! *clap clap*

Took lots of silly and lovely photos with my friends in the forest too! I didn't took much photos with my camera as Blue was our main photographer of the day. Lots of nice photos from him!

BTW, I really love my OOTD for the trip, which made me look fairer than I usually did. Thumbs up for chiffon blouses! ♥
What do you think?

Simple journey with lots of fun.
Cheers ♥

~P*I*C*N*I*C @ Sheffield Botanical Garden~

I woke up at 10am this morning prepared sandwiches for the afternoon's picnic.

At about 11.30am, Wei Cai called & I went to help them on moving things from their old flat to new ones. Luckily we do not need to move, I can't imagine how many times will we need to move up & down since we have so many things in our flat! Thank God. =D

At about 1pm, 13 of us gathered at the common room & walked to the Botanical Garden. Members were Yin Ying, Michele, Hui Tzy, Jacky, Cyrus, Jocelyn, Ken Wee, Catherine, Ritchie, Blue, Sue, Jing Wen & I.
It took us about hald an hour to reach. We sweated because it was really sunny today!

It was a more beautiful garden, as compared to the Weston Park. It has variety of flowers, big trees and spots to have "sun-bath" session for publics (the whites love the sun).

We were so lucky today as we got the chance to witness a British's wedding ceremony. It was small, simple, yet lovely. I would like my wedding to be that way. =D *blushed*

Had a simple & lovely day with them.

~S*H*O*E*R*A*C*K~

I found 2 big empty boxes at Aldi last week & I turned the boxes to be Catherine's & my shoe racks! Our shoes area looks more organised now. Yeay!
Shall find one for Ritchie as well next time we go Aldi.

Now our corridor looks like a roadside shoe stall. =D

Currently I have 5 pairs of shoes for me to mix with my daily OOTDs. I have more shoes "behind the scene" actually, but I don't want to show yet. But I'll show one-by-one because I worry that I will scare u all off if I show all at once. lol =P

~T*R*I*P: Blackpool~

Only 12 of us (AEM-ians) participated in this Blackpool Trip as the town has not much to do unless you enter their Pleasure Beach Theme Park, which is £32 for all rides. Ritchie, Catherine & I bought the ticket online & we just had to pay £22! Here's the website to purchase your ticket: https://www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/shop/low_fare.php.
We were the only 3 people that entered the theme park while others had a walk in the town & heard that they went into the theme park with £5 per entry, but without playing any ride.

We were the RED TRIO!

Excitement & Thrills, here we come!!!
We reached Blackpool at about 10.30am & started to walked to the Pleasure Beach, which was almost 25 minutes of distance. Damn far! After claiming our wristbands, we started the day with a "warm-up" ride: Big Dipper. Too normal ride for the "brave" us. lol

Note:
Kindly click the ride's name & it will link you to the official website with details, even videos! =)

Next one was the cooler ones! INFUSION! Having our legs swinging in the air during the ride! LOVE IT!!

After that was the BIG ONE! That's really the BIGGEST thrilling roller coaster I've ever rode!

The BIG ONE was behind us in this picture! Can U see how high it goes?

Steeplechase was the next one & it was just a normal kiddy ride on the fake horse Marry Go Round.

After that, R&C went for a BLING ride. I didn't ride because I was worried about feeling dizzy because it turns continuously. I love thrilling rides, but not dizzy ones. I just didn't want to take risk for feeling sick on this great day.=D

We played REVOLUTION & it was the coolest 5 minutes ride where the ride moved forward & most importantly, moved BACKWARD & made a 360 degree turn! COOL!!

Next, AVALANCHE. Each of us ride on our own bobsled car & experienced the excitement ourselves! Yeahhh!!! But it was not as thrilling as we thought.

ALICE RIDE, another kiddo family ride for us. Felt funny because we lined up with kids. lol

We didn't have much time because our bus had to leave Blackpool at 5pm sharp. So we ended our excitement with VALHALLA, a watery journey through ice, fire, wind and snow.
It was really a good ending, where we got wet after the ride! It was freakingly cold when we got out from the ride & the water eventually dried up as we walked.

Nickelodeon Land was a kid's land & we just went to have a look before we left the Pleasure Beach.

We went for a late lunch, 3pm something at the road side Fish & Chips booth.

We were damn hungry! We ordered these 3 dishes to share. Each of them costs us £1.99. Felt satisfied after the lunch & had a slow walk by the sea side of Blackpool's. It was not as beautiful as Whitby's but I love the sea winds.=)
We managed to rushed to our bus & ended the trip with another 2 hours of sleeping on the way back to Sheffield.

I was glad that I've entered Pleasure Beach Theme Park with my 2 flatmates
& those rides were worth what we'd paid for.
I Blackpool!

~S*H*O*P*P*I*N*G: Meadowhall~

It's Friday & we decided to go Meadowhall for our SHOPPING spreeeeeeee!

Michele, Catherine, Ritchie, Patrick & I walked to train station at about 10.30am & bought our tickets for £1.50.  Reached there after 10 minutes & we started SHOPPING in this shopping heaven!

Looked through the mall map before we started the shopping spree.=D

During the shopping, I couldn't stand the temptations whenever I walked pass a SHOE store/department.
Who don't L♥VE shoes? Maybe I'm just too much~ =P

£2.49 for a sandwich & a drink as our lunch!

Headed back Sheffield at about 8pm. =D
Anyway, I've spent so much for the shopping & 50% of them are souvenirs for my family & friends. Almost 80% of my purchases are from Dorothy Perkins. Teehee~=D

Okay, now I have to burry myself in the house & stop going out for shopping!
>.<

~P*I*T*C*H*I*N*G~

It's individual Concept Pitching for our Product Innovation & Creativity subject this morning. Everyone was required to prepare a flip chart of his/her new invention & pitch in the class. This was 25% from the total accessment marks! That's a lot! It was said that the tutor will not give good marks for we Tarcians, but still have to do our best for the pitching. Perhaps, miracles may happen? =)

Anyway, I did last-minute-work again the night before. It was nearly 2am in the morning when I finished drawing my flip chart. I even woke up 8.30am in the morning to rush on my presentation scripts. Everything turned smooth for the preparation & presentation, but the "nervousness" definitely still there while I was presenting.

The 3-minute pitching was just like a blink of eye & it was ended with a small celebration lunch at Noodle Inn.=D

I helped 5 of my friends to work on their flip charts & they treated me back with the lunch. Thanks to all of them. Kok Wa, Yee Choon, Ritchie, Wei Cai & Blue =)

~W*A*L*K @ Weston Park~

After having this heavy fried rice as our dinner, we flatmates went for a walk to Weston Park

Wanted to burn some calories, although it was not much to be burnt. Haha! We just felt guilty for not doing any exercise as we have had so many high carb food these few days. lol

Anyway played some dance moves at the big green field of the Weston Park & also some jumping & Taekwondo daekyo. Our coach: Ritchie Lim. lol.

4 of us managed to sweat after these "exercises" & left the park at about 10pm, where the sky was just started to get dark.=D

Cheers.;)

~T*R*I*P: Whitby~

Had a great trip to Whitby today, which was 3-hour-journey from Sheffield. Almost broke my back for that. Anyway, it's worth it!! Whitby is such a LOVELY place!! Love the beach so much! It reminds me of Penang Island of Malaysia's, but of course, very beautiful & 100% better than Penang!

My OOTD: Vintage!

The BEACH & ME!!
There was a roll or colourful Whitby Huts at the side of the beach & I love it so so much!!!

The Whitby Abbey's behind me. We didn't enter the place because it cost £6 per entry & we were short of time for it.

The St. Mary's Church

Whitby was famous for its Fish & Chips & there were lots of restaurants selling it! People line up for it & most of all, they took away & had the fish & chips while walking. It was said that The Magpie Fish & Chips was the best one so we went for it. Lining up with the crowds.
(Just for taking photo purpose, eventually R & P lined up while C & I waited beside. Thanks.=D)

Here, our Fish & Chips!! Cod fish & Haddock fish fillet with chips, in HUGE portion!
We had it at the alley as we didn't get used to eating this big food while walking. lol
I couldn't finished it & brought it back as my dinner.=D

Last but not least, photos of the lovely Whitby town

LVE LVE LVE
Whitby!!
LVE LVE LVE

We are having sun-tanned-skin because it was really SUNNY there & we walked under the sun for IDK, 5 hours+?? OMG. Luckily I applied sunblock & I think it helped, a little. lol

I was with my flatmates all the while & I enjoyed it!
Maybe that's the only way I can enjoy the day without feeling left out from others.
Thank my flatmates so much for making my day! Loves.
