~G*Y*M~

Cat, Rit, Pat, Cai, Sue, BY & I joined the Sport Club Hallam at Sheffield a month ago.
Today was my last day of membership & I just wanted it to be memoriable, for myself. =)

This is the interior of the sport club. Enough equipments for everyone!

I only lose 1kg in this 1-month-workout, because I still eat at the same time. lol

Anyway, the workouts within this month have helped me to feel healthier & fit. The elliptical was my main workout equipment as it has helped me to burn lots of calories.=D

I shall take care of my food intake as I won't be having workouts starting from today.
Wish me luck! =)

~S*U*P*P*E*R @ Victoria Hall~

Met new friends at the opposite accomodation, Victoria Hall. They are Bee Yean's friends.
They invited Mr. R to make his Teh Tarik for everyone. They were nice people, although I felt weird because it was the first time of meeting them. Luckily BY's there & I didn't feel too awkward. =)

~D*I*N*N*E*R @ Yates's~

Catherine, Ritchie & I was planning to dine-in at a chinese buffet, but it was closed.
At last, we decided to have our dinner at Yates's.

We ordered 4 main courses:
1. Award-Winning Fish Pie
2. Hot Chicken Burrito
3. Beef Vindaloo Curry Set
4. Cheese Burger

2 mouth-watering desserts:
1. Rocky Road Chocolate Cheesecake
2. Warm Chocolate Melt (our fav!)

That's a lot!! We were like eating a western food "buffet", & we enjoyed it very much although we were bloated after the dinner.=D

Had a 15 minutes walk before we headed back to our flat to reduce some of our "guilt" for eating too much. LOL

Happy Dinner!

~B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y: Kok Wa~

Had a simple birthday celebration with Kok Wa, a "happy-go-lucky" guy among us. He is chubby in such the way that he can makes everyone laugh with his expressions, reactions, and way of talking. He is my assignment groupmate and we asked him to come my place for discussion. "At the back stage", we'd planned for a surprise celebration at his house at about 11.30pm.

We finished our discussion at about 11.25pm and headed back to his house. We had excuse of going for glutinous rice with red bean soup, which was cooked by Eric (Kah Wah).

We were like waiting for a bride at his door step. FUNNY! There were everyone hiding behind the door and they were preparing the cake before they can open the door.

After a while, he got in and it was totally dark at the corridor full of people! Michele held the cake & matches while everyone sing birthday song for him.

Hope that we really surprised him (as someone was just can't keep secret told him about the surprise).

There were 26 of us in the flat! Fries, peanuts and Tong Yuen with red bean soup were served for everyone. Thanks for the housemates for preparing those food for everyone!

Happy birthday to you, Kok Wa!
Hope you like it.=)

~D*I*M*S*U*M @ UK~

The fried dumplings that were made few days ago was a success. Kok Wa, Yee Choon, Wei Cai, Kah Wah, Chun Hup, Ritchie, Catherine & I made the Dumplings & "Siew Mai" again last night!

The whole process took us about 2 hour+ & it was almost midnight when we were done.

Everything ended up great, where all of us stand the chance to have a wonderful
Dim Sum Breakfast this morning.=D

It's great where we just need to spend not more than £0.40 (means RM2.00) & got the chance to have a very big amount of dumplings to enjoy. Can't get this great offer even in Malaysia! =D

We enjoyed the making process & most of all, we can taste the food that made by ourselves!
It's such a great satisfaction!
Thanks all for coming & hope that you all had a great time! =)

~C*H*E*F* Day~

Today was my first chance to be the main chef for a table of 7!

I suddenly missed my mom's fried dumplings & wanted to make it. I successfully made it and it tastes almost the same with my mom's! Of course, my mom's is always the best!♥

I had some helpers for the whole cooking processes. Thanks to KokWa who helped me to roll the dough & Ritchie who helped me to cut vege & cook vege soup! Also thanks to other boys (Yee Choon, Kah Wah, Wei Cai & Chun Hup) who helped me to wash dishes.=)

I also cooked some other dishes & Ritchie was the one making the vegetable soup! =D

I enjoyed every single second of being the "chef".
Thanks for giving me the chance. ♥

~T*R*I*P: Backpack to Barcelona~

It was the so-call "study week", where there's no class due to lecturers & tutors were on-leave for the whole week. So... Trips were arranged, weeks ago! Some of my friends went to London trip & I, went for a 5-day-4-night backpack trip to Barcelona, Spain with Catherine, Ritchie, Patrick & Blue. =D
5 of us left Sheffield Railway Station at about 8pm & reached Liverpool South Parkway Station at about 10pm.
Since our flight to Barcelona was at 7am, the next morning, we walked all the way to the airport, which was 1 hour walk. =D We stopped by on our way to the airport at McDonalds & had our supper. *fat die*

Reached Liverpool airport at about 1am & waited for check-in. We're like excited zombies when we check-in. LOL. Cat & Blue were busy with their assignments, while Rit & me sat there doing nothing (because we'd finished ours before the trip).

It's time to fly!! Ryanair!

Once we got onto our flight, we slept all the way to Barcelona. We took a bus to the city & discover around for the nearest train station. It was really tiring to walk around with our luggages/bags (5 of us not really have good sleep that night at airport).

Took this bus from the airport to the town & bought train tickets and stopped at Liceu Station. It's the nearest station to our hostel. Reached the hostel & that's how our hostel looks like.

Barcelona has hot weather, just like Malaysia. But our room has small window with no direct wind, most importantly, NO FAN!! Malaysia at least has fan everywhere!! OMG. We sweated every night, INSANE.

Back to the stories, we walked around & visited the famous spots & ancient buildings listed in the travel guide.

This is so-call the unfinished masterpiece of Gaudi's:
La Sagrada Familia
We went on the day time & also at night! =)

We had a BEACH day with all those sunbathers. They love sun UV so much! >.<

I still got dark although I really applied loads of sunblocks. *cry*
Cat & I collected some rocks from the sea as souvenirs.=)

The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc as our trip's ending ceremony.
It's the last place we visit before we left for the airport=)

Cleaned my face & body, & changed into clean singlet once I reached the airport!
Feel clean & refreshed!!

These were the food I took during the trip.

Don't even dare to count how many calories inside. OMG

My OOTDs for the Barcelona Trip!
Chiffon blouses are !!
They're light-weight, easy-to-match & looks nice too!

Love the relaxing environment of the city.
I would probably go there again when I have the "financial capability"
to stay in HOTEL with air-conditionings. =D
