~F*O*O*D @ Opal One C13~

Just want to update some photos of the food that I've been eating these few days. It is always more cost-saving by cooking at home! Yet getting to learn different dishes & seasoning which eventually makes the food taste even better!

On the 12th of June, Catherine cooked fried maggie mee & bihun for dinner! A big round egg was fried to make "pattaya" fried noodles! =D

On 14th of June, I fried some mixed vege & a pot of ABC soup & 4 of us headed to Sue's house for dinner. 14 people had dinner there & we're served with 3 types of soup, 2 types of vege & 1 meat dish. It's considered as SOUP DAY. I could only recalled on how bloated we're, with those soups. =D

On 15th of June, I made my lunch! Spaghetti with tomatoes, meatballs & pepperoni! Iceberg vege was served as my toppings. Yummm~!!

As for dinner, we went to Chino's for the famous Kebab in Sheffield. 5 of us shared a Chicken Set & Doner Set! We're not enough full after the dinner but it's worth to have a try! It has the taste of Asian's food. =)

On 16th of June, means today, we had Opal One C13's Nando's Chicken Set!! The recipes were created by ourselves! Patrick roasted the chicken & the mediterranean rice (of course I didn't eat the rice) & I made the coleslaw!! Frankly speaking, with Chilli powder on the chicken, dipping with tomato, HP, & tobasco sauce, it tastes better than the ori Nando's! Wooohhh!!

4 of us also had a red wine drinking session after the dinner. Perfectto!
Lovely food, Lovely flatmates, Lovely life in UK.

~T*I*L*E Paintings~

I participated in the Tile Paintings Event, organized by my Uni today! It was FOC & I didn't want to miss a chance to DRAW! =)

My OOTD , do I look "artistic" enough? LOL

Anyway, it was suprisingly empty, at the venue of the tile painting. Seems like TARCIAN does not active enough. Anyway, I felt better, because I'll feel pressured if there's too much of people around.=)

In the process of drafting, drawing & painting...

Tadaaaa~~ My works!!
What do u think? ;)

Took a photo with the person incharged, Deborah.

I felt better after the drawings,
I didn't know why I couldn't stop smiling & laughing on the way back to hostel.
I just knew that, I'm happy.

~H*O*P*E~

The same thing happened to me & I had a really bad time dealing with those feelings. It's really hard to get rid of that. It has became my biggest fear of my life.
Let's hope everything will be fine after this. Just hope it will.

~T*R*I*P: York~

Had a wonderful one-day-trip to YORK this morning. The trip was organized by our Uni & there will be more to come! Every weekend will have trip to different cities in UK. I participated in 5 out of 8 trips organized. =)

Okay, back to YORK trip.
Walked to The Hub at 7.45am from our flat after our breakfast. Catherine & Ritchie prepared lunch box for each of us! Sausage rolls with eggs!!

At about 8.30am, our bus departed to YORK! Reached there in about 40 minutes. Some of my friends were uncomfortable during the journey as the bus was damn shaky! Plus, there's no fresh air inside the bus. Luckily they felt better after coming out from the bus.

According to VisitYork.org, YORK is a city renowned for its Roman, Viking & Medieval heritage (adapted from www.visityork.org). There's full of old architectures which makes the city an attraction for visitors.

I bought this £3 leopard printed shoe from H&M as it was having a sales! The H&M in Sheffield is still selling at £7.99 each. Hooray for leopard printed stuffs!!

I also bought a Hello Kitty thingy for my sister, as she love it so much. Let's hope she'll like it.=)

That's all for what I bought from YORK, as not much stores were having sales.

Left York at 5pm & reached Sheffield about 6pm. It was really tiring after walked for few hours in York. Managed to cook & invite 4 more friends to come along for dinner. Delicious! =)

Lovely day & dinner

~N*E*W * L*I*F*E @ Sheffield~

Starting my new life in a foreign country with my friends are fantastic! Having them to be there for me makes me feel that I'm not alone. Especially for 3 of my flatmates. They're thoughful, a sincere big THANKS to them.
Let's starts my journey in my new life here. The very first meal I had in Sheffield was McDonald's Mayo Chicken Burger, which costed me £0.99!! No drinks & fries! It's my first time & it will be my last time eating that. >.<

Lots of groceries shoppings were done for the first & second day with my flatmates. Our fridge columns & cupboard racks are filled with loads of food now! Will definitely survive & also get fat in these 3 months. lol

I have been playing with different  mix-and-match outfits in every single day. It's so wonderful that I can wear boots wherever I go, as no one will look at me with "uncomfortable" looks (like in Malaysia). The boots just made the whole outfits perfect! Below were my different outfits of the days/nights. *wink*

As for food, I have been fed with different & delicious food, as 2 of my flatmates are great cooks! I haven't get the chance to cook for them officially. I hope that I can, one day. My breakfasts were basically cereals & digestives biscuits with milk. I don't think I will get bored with it, NEVER! Because I this kind of breakfast so much!! It makes me feel like I'm a westerners. =D
These were varieties of breakfasts, lunchs & dinners in this week.

On the second day at Sheffield, my flatmates & I went for a wonderful dine-out breakfast at Lynne's Pantry, recommended by Patrick (my flatmate). It was really a lovely place with "English" environment to dine-in. Love it!! The food were nice too! We ordered four dishes & shared.

Walking in the Sheffield City is definitely better than to walk in Cities of Malaysia. The sun was there, but there's no heat from it & cold wind was there, all the time. Sometimes it really freezed me up, but somehow I like it, as I didn't get to sweat like no body's business. Feels clean!!

Below were the photos taken during the first few days in Sheffield. More photos were uploaded in my facebook albums! Enjoy!!

~B*Y*E Malaysia, H*E*L*L*O United Kingdom~

Leaving makes me feel unwilling, but at the same time excited. Daddy, Mummy & eldest brother accompanied me to the airport & everything went smooth until when it was time for me to say goodbye. It was such a rush situation where I need to go into the international imigration as my friend was waiting me inside & I thought I was late. Anyway, I insisted on taking photos with my family before I left. I lost my temper & my eyes were running with tears.

My brother sent me a sms & said:"Mama cried when u lost your temper just now." Mom, I'm sorry that I made you cry, I didn't mean to. I know that you're worried about me & I promise I will take good care of myself there.

I updated the photo of me in the flight to facebook, saying "Good Bye Malaysia" before the departure.

It's so cool that we can still online in the plane with the KLIA wifi. It was really great that Catherine sat beside me in both flights.=D

From KL to Abu Dabhi: 7 hours+
This was my dinner
Chicken Biryani with aromatic Rice
It's the best compared to other selections=)
I barely sleep during the KL->AD flight, what I did was watching the movies/TV channels available. Was I too excited? Maybe...?

From Abu Dhabi to Manchester: 7 hours+
This was my breakfast
Mushroom Omelette with Chicken Kofta, Ratatouille & Parsley Potato
There were desserts & other beverages served during the flight too!

These 2 flights nearly broke our backbones & it's worth it!
We're here, in Sheffield, UK!!

We reached Manchester at about 8am in the morning(local time) & we're welcomed by Andrew & other crews of Sheffield Hallam Univerisity.
It was very sunny day, with cool wind blowing. It's considered to be the best welcoming weather for us.=)
There were coaches that sent us to Sheffield, to our accomodation.

There were lots of beautiful scenes on the way back to Sheffield.

I LOVE IT HERE!!
New Place, New Life!

~E*M*O~

I'm having Conflicts of Emotions right now.

Angry about myself, as usual: I haven't finished my packing

Sad: Unwillingness of leaving (Temporary? INS)

Excited: Waited for such a long time & it's just left 2 days for me to fly off.

Frustrated: Continuously zip & unzip the luggage, removed & rearranged the stuffs inside, weight the luggage every time after I rearrange & zip the luggage.
Read at this sentence makes me even more frustrated. FML

Hope that things will turn better tomorrow.
Have to do my last packing before I sleep tonight.
xoxo

She treated me these!!
