~M*A*R*C*H* 2013~

Hi readers :)

Since I'm back from CNY, working life is real hectic! After a year contributing to this company, I am being promoted during end March 2013's performance appraisal.

Thus, responsibilities getting more & more for the company. Daily tasks have increased & I accept them as they come. I always tell myself, "The more I learn, the more I can upgrade myself. Difficulties would have to be resolved & deal them with patience." --- This has been pushing me forward to take over the additional tasks & workloads for being a Product Executive.

I will work even harder to better upgrade myself in this demanding society. :)
All the best to u all & myself.

~C*N*Y*2013~

Hi readers, I kept my promise! I'm back :)
I had 10 days of off days for this year's Chinese New Year. It was the longest holiday ever after I started working.

Being at home & with your love ones are the best thing ever!

As usual, CNY 2013 were about gathering of family & relatives, and of course, friends!

These are the outfits that I wore for my CNY. Dresses that I barely wear in normal days. Looks different from the usual me, I have feminine side too. :P

As usual, the 1st day of CNY, My family & I took yearly group photos before heading to my grandma's place.

Meeting up with my grandma, aunts, uncles & most importantly, crazy cousins! We hugged, we hold hands tightly, we spent the day with continuous laughters. Miss them so much!

Skype-ed with Sister at Russia & Uncle at Ireland. So far yet so near. :)

Not to be missed, I met up with my best friends on these special days as well!

My sisters, CL & HL came to my place on the 2nd day of CNY. We had just 3 hours to gossip, catch up & cam-whore. Although it was short, we had a great time! Thank you babes!

For my 3rd day of CNY, I finally got the chance to meet up with my best friend, Xin!
We haven't met for 3 years due to we were overseas & didn't get the chance to meet up due to time constrains.

We visiting another friend, Yee Shuen's place. Thanks for her hospitality :)

It was another long catch-up with Xin as we had a private session that night.

As for my 4th day, went for a random movie session with Xin, Yee Shuen, & Lee Yoong. We watches "Parker". Love it!

That night itself, I went for dinner at Sakae Sushi, Auto-City with daddy, eldest brother & sis-in-law, with aunts & cousins. Yummey~!!

After the dinner, I met up with secondary school classmates!

We played cards & stayed up till the next morning but didn't manage to stay till breakfast as everyone was damn tired.

Had a nice chat with Chai Ping too :)

For the 5th day, the next morning, I went Penang with my eldest brother & sis-in-law to fetch my mom from airport. She went KL on the 3rd day of CNY. After fetching mom, we went for solve our Penang food cravings! :D

We had cendols, char koey teow & Penang Laksa!! It was really crowded that day but we were satisfied.

That night itself, we had steamboat for our Valentine Dinner :)

6th day was my last day at home. We visited grandma again!
This is my beloved grandma.

My aunt cooked Thai Laksa & my favourite fried corn cakes! We made homemade taro ball desserts too! Ate much that day! :O

That night itself, mom cooked fried rice for supper. She smiled to us & said, " it's the last day to eat so much, tomorrow u all are going back."
I can feel the reluctance of her for tomorrow's arrival although she was hiding her emotions. Thank you, mom.

The next morning, my uncle & his family came to fetch me back to Johor. Had my very first satay celup at Melaka while we were on the way back. Slurps!

I only went back Singapore on the next day. Xiao jiu & jiu mu, thanks for bringing me for great food, worrying that I have eaten enough. I sincerely thank you both for your love & care for me.

I had to leave. Temporarily leaving my beloved family, back to working life without them to be physically there with me. I am used to be independent, thanks to many years of 'training':
2 years in Penang, 2 years in KL, 3 months in UK & almost a year in Singapore.

Thanks for my parents to make me a better person who can do everything on my own. I promise that I'll not let u all down, in fact, making u both to be proud of having me as your daughter!

~S*I*N*G*A*P*O*R*E: Part 2~

It's like finally, I update my blog, which I have been abandoning it since February last year. I guess that was the time I got my call from my current job! :)

9th March 2012, it was the day I got accepted by Uniqlo.

I still remember clearly where was the exact location that I got the call & the gratefulness plus excitement that I never ever forget! It was at Bugis! I was walking around in the mall with my cousin, Ashley after praying at Guan Yin Temple.

I was so thankful that I have so many supports from my family, relatives staying at Singapore & also my friends.

19th March 2012 was my first day of work in Uniqlo headquarter as a inventory controller. It was quite challenging job as this company is currently expanding in S.E.A. I'm glad to be part of the company, learn new things & can grow with the company. Thanks for giving me a chance!

New colleagues from stores joined on August 2012 has made my jobs more lively! Thanks for enlightening my working life, especially Louisa, Janet & Yvonne. ❤

I'll do my best in the job, also updating this blog more often ;)

Thanks for reading ❤

~G*R*A*D*U*A*T*I*O*N 2012: Degree~♥

18th of February 2012, a date to be remembered.

I'm OFFICIALLY GRADUATED. :)

Thanks my second brother for helping me to take photos.

I attended the grand Graduation Ceremony at One World Hotel, KL.
It was grand, it should be! (paid RM700++ for the ceremony, robe renting, & graduation photos)
It almost "killed" me, as I paid it with my savings (although those were money given by parents during my study life)
I have used too much of my parents' money & I should be the one serving them back!
The more money I used previously, the more I have to earn back for them!

To my Family members & Friends,
Thanks for all the supports, care and love!

My BESTie, Catherine ♥                                             My BEST coursework gang! :)

 My BEST jumping partners! lol

 Graduates. :)

That night, I was treated with Tony Roma's dinner! Thanks to my my eldest brother for the treat!

Thanks my sis-in-law, Jamie♥ for this bracelet. My 2nd bracelet from u. ♥ it! :)

Thanks for coming. :)

Thanks my eldest brother for the flowers. ♥

I enjoyed my study life although there were endless exams, courseworks, and presentations.
I didn't have good grades though. (Felt useless because couldn't make my parents proud, sorry...)

~S*I*N*G*A*P*O*R*E: Part 1~

Hello Singapore
I came in as a visitor, but I'm not coming for a vacation.

I have a mission to accomplish, which is:

To get a reasonably-paid job.

I worked hard on sending resumes every day through JobsDB & Jobstreet, as well as local newspaper.
It wasn't easy to get a job, as I'm a totally fresh graduate without experience in the fields that relate to what I've studied.

I felt like an useless person during the 8 days without getting any interview.
Spending parents' money, eating & staying at relatives' house without paying really stressed me out!
I was nervous, but at the same time, relieved when there were 2 companies that called me 2 days before I had to go back Malaysia for my Convocation ceremony. As least I had the "result" to be reported to my family members.

I've sent almost 100 resumes & I got only 2 calls.
It was my very first job interview & I didn't presented myself well.
But I got an offer from one of them, it was a small Advertising & Marketing company.
The director offered me SGD$1500, as I'm a foreigner. I had to do telemarketing for the first 3-6 months before I can meet up clients.

Really appreciate the helps from my cousins (Kelvin, Chris, Yunn Wen & Bryant) who gave me trial interviews & provided me with important issues to be noted.

I was being treated with many delicious food from relatives & friend during my stays in Singapore.

Thanks! I will treat you all back when I'm employed. :)
天下没有白吃的  每一餐!!!
